PPPF have been working closely with the graphics.coop to develop our new website. This has been a productive meeting of people who “get” what we are each trying to achieve. We hope you like the new look and if there is anything you would like to see added then feel free to get in touch with email@example.com.
PPPF will be having our next group meeting on 27th March 2014. The morning session of for staff and activists whilst the afternoon session is for anyone who supports our work or is interested in finding out a bit more. The highlight of this meeting will be a tasting of the wonderful products produced by the Freedom Bakery. Watch the news column for a full report back on activities from the day…
Our Communications Coordinator attended the SPS launch of the above policy at the SPS headquarters earlier this week. It is a very comprehensive document that should add to the work being done in extending equality for all.
“This is one of the most progressive policies that has been produced by the SPS and the Scottish Transgender Alliance and it was great to be taking part in the SPS launch” said Jim. “It is a benchmark for how organisations everywhere should approach these issues and both organisations are to be warmly congratulated for their efforts in this area.”

Welcome to our minimalist website…
… and 2014
We have been working away behind the scenes to develop our abilities and practical experience as well as the resources necessary to grow into an effective organisation for change.
We are a community of interest based on the expertise of the lived experience of its members. We work to reduce offending in Scotland and to help build safer communities. We work to enable people within the criminal justice system to recognise that it is possible to make their own decisions to move away from offending and to re-establish their citizenship within their own community.
As a group we have made significant progress in the past few months and are now approaching the stage where some ‘real’ work can begin. This will involve working with people in prison and in the wider community as well as developing collaborative working with like minded organisations and sharing our experiences with the Scottish Government, the Scottish Prison Service and academic researchers.
There is a lot going on behind the scenes and information about all of this will be shared through this site as soon as possible.
